About the role

The Senior Analyst, Client Insights provides analytical support, reporting expertise and meaningful insights that help leadership make informed decisions. The role requires strong analytical thinking, the ability to simplify complex data, and the confidence to engage directly with stakeholders at all levels. The analyst owns recurring reporting, develops dashboards, and leads or contributes to analytical projects that improve the client and advisor experience.

Key responsibilities

Insight generation and analytics

  • Translate raw data into meaningful insights, visualizations and recommendations for business partners.
  • Develop, enhance and maintain dashboards and recurring reports used by senior leaders.
  • Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to address emerging questions related to client and advisor experience.
  • Prototype and test new analytical approaches; refine outputs based on feedback.

Reporting ownership

  • Manage end‑to‑end delivery of recurring reporting cycles, including data collection, validation and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders to ensure reports are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Troubleshoot data or automation issues and collaborate with Technology teams when required.

Stakeholder engagement

  • Work with cross‑functional partners to gather requirements, understand business needs and align on analytical deliverables.
  • Present insights clearly and confidently to leaders, including Directors and VPs.
  • Build trusted relationships as a reliable resource for data‑driven decision‑making.

Continuous improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing dashboards and reporting processes.
  • Recommend and implement improvements that increase efficiency, clarity or business value.

Team collaboration and mentorship

  • Coach junior analysts, interns and rotational staff by reviewing work, guiding requirement collection and supporting review sessions.
  • Contribute to team planning and recruitment activities, as needed.

Qualifications

Technical

  • Strong analytical skills with experience transforming complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI & Looker).
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Ability to validate data, diagnose reporting issues and recommend solutions.
  • Data storytelling is required and considered a core competency.
  • Power Apps, Power Automate, Python and R script knowledge are considered an asset.

Business and communication

  • Clear, concise communicator able to tailor messages to senior audiences.
  • Strong ability to structure insights and provide well‑supported recommendations.

Planning and organization

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong execution discipline.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is ($72,500 - $91,000), which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
