Mackenzie Investment’s Distribution – Sales Experience and Analytics department is seeking applications for the position of Senior Sales Analyst. The Sales Experience & Analytics team’s mandate is to support and improve sales team enablement, leveraging tools and technology, data, and analytics. We support and continuously evolve our industry leading Salesforce.com CRM platform, and related tools that support and improve our sales processes, effectiveness, and productivity. We deliver business intelligence to sales and leadership teams that measures the effectiveness of our programs and sales activities, drives sales performance and a strong sales culture.
Reporting to the Director, Sales Analytics, the successful candidate’s primary function will be to support sales analytics within the Distribution business.
The individual’s core responsibilities will be:
- Create, run, and maintain scheduled reporting that supports the Retail Sales, Strategic Alliance and Key Accounts teams and their sales activities.
- Build and deliver reporting for both ongoing and new sales initiatives such as ETFs, account planning and ROI analysis.
- Build and maintain dataflows and dashboards to support sales initiatives
- Provide analytics, insights and content that facilitates communication, and supports decision making by sales leadership and the senior executive team.
- Support the Sales Analytics team as needed with Retail projects and initiatives.
- Participate in projects and on-going departmental initiatives as a subject matter expert, particularly those involving sales data.
The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:
- Curious, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- 4+ years of increasing experience in the Canadian investment industry, with analytics experience in a financial services environment
- Related Post-secondary education
- Solid written and verbal communication skills – professional in dealing with internal and external partners at various levels.
- Ability to develop, maintain and manage relationships at various levels within the company.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel (formulas, charts, pivot tables, macros)
- Experience working with Salesforce.com and CRM Analytics
- Experience with Tableau (Creator, Prep Builder, Server) and other data visualization software
- Experience with database query tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, etc
- Experience with SQL and JSON
- Experience with UX/UI design and development
- Completion of CSC and IFIC are desirable

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $62,000 - $80,000, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
