As a key member of the Talent, Organizational Development (OD), and Analytics team, this role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience to contribute to a wide range of Human Resources (HR) programs and initiatives. You will assist in the delivery and continuous improvement of programs by working closely with team members, learning about best practices, and supporting day-to-day operations.  You will contribute to work related to workforce planning, organizational culture and values, competencies and performance management, people analytics, and more. This role reports to the Director, Talent and Organizational Development and is ideal for someone who is eager to grow their HR expertise, enjoys working collaboratively, and is skilled in leveraging technology to drive results.

 

Key Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

  • Support Talent, OD, and Analytics initiatives related to workforce planning, culture and values, performance management, competencies, change management, and external awards.
  • Execute project plans efficiently and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Document new and existing processes to support operational excellence.
  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) on tools such as Qualtrics and SAP SuccessFactors, while continuously learning emerging and best practices for Microsoft tools like Excel, Power BI, and Copilot.
  • Collaborate with team members and the Communications team to ensure timely and accurate messaging across all programs.
  • Act as a second line of support for leader inquiries via the centralized HR support team (e.g., HR Connect).
  • Address employee escalations, create process documentation, and transfer knowledge to support teams to reduce future escalations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on system enhancements, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Stay current on Talent, OD and Analytics industry best practices and emerging trends.

Employee Listening

  • Support the implementation of the employee listening strategy in collaboration with team members.
  • Build small to medium-sized surveys and dashboards in Qualtrics; partner with external vendors for larger, more complex surveys.
  • Coordinate with HR Technology, Information System (HRIS) and Reporting teams and vendors to ensure accurate and efficient data handling.
  • Pull reports from Qualtrics and assist in developing results presentations for executive audiences.

Performance Management

  • Support the annual performance management cycle, including objective setting, mid-year reviews, year-end discussions, calibration, and final ratings.
  • Serve as system administrator for relevant SAP SuccessFactors modules.

People Analytics

  • Perform data cleanup and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain and update dashboards to reflect current metrics and insights.
  • Pull reports and assist in building presentations to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or project coordination role (internships or co-op placements count).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with data and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HR systems like SAP SuccessFactors or Qualtrics is a strong asset.
  • Curious and eager to learn about HR programs, systems, and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
