About the Role:

Mackenzie Investments Europe Ltd  is accepting applications for the position of Investment Analyst for our office in Dublin, Ireland.

 

Position:

We are currently hiring an investment analyst for our Dublin based investment team. As a member of the investment team your major responsibilities will include contributing to alpha generation across our equity portfolios, enhancing existing research and financial modeling, and leading company engagement within your sector. While we are ideally looking for someone with healthcare experience, we are open to applications with different experience levels and sector expertise.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and present research on companies and investment themes.
  • Create and maintain financial models.
  • Build relationships with the management teams of companies under coverage
  • Collect industry and company data through a variety of channels, including research, trade publications, industry sources and expert networks.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, company news and regulatory frameworks.
  • Support the development of thought leadership articles.
  • Communicate high conviction recommendations to the investment team.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry, asset management experience preferred.
  • Candidate should be able to demonstrate that they are self-motivated and can work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work constructively and collaborate with others.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis and modelling .
  • A high level of proficiency in Bloomberg and Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • CFA designation or progress towards such is an asset.
