Position:

The Client Experience and Engagement Team plays a pivotal role at Mackenzie by ensuring our clients’ needs are prioritized in every discussion, every interaction, and every decision. They are accountable for understanding the needs of our clients and translating those for other areas of our business with a focus on marketing, sales, and product. This team collaborates across sales, service, digital, and technology to support a seamless experience.

 

This team is seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual as the Associate, Client Engagement, reporting to the AVP Client Experience & Engagement.

This role is critical to the delivery of our client experience strategy and will help us to enable the delivery of seamless end to end experience across all segments. The responsibilities of this role supporting the needs of our clients by helping deliver (1) effectively on sponsored events, (2) supporting the resolution of pain points, (3) and supporting with acquisition and retention plans.

 

The primary responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Assist in the execution of client engagement and communication strategies that support business development activities across different client segments.
  • Support teams with the execution of content, marketing materials, emails, event support, presentations, and relevant account-specific content.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of client experience and engagement efforts, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Coordinate client facing events, specifically for institutional and key accounts conferences.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, manage website content updates and ensure digital experiences align to client journeys.

 

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Superior communication skills with strong written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Highly motivated individual with willingness to learn and take initiative.

Education

  • University Degree (ideally in Commerce / Economics / Business)
  • CX or other Client Engagement designations/course completions are an asset.
