    Mackenzie Investments is currently accepting applications for the position of Senior Administrative Assistant.  This role will work very closely with the Senior Vice President and will also provide support to the leadership team. The primary responsibilities of the role will include:

    • Manage the daily calendar and activities for the SVP, and team members as requested
    • Coordinating travel arrangements for the teams
    • Coordinating and scheduling meetings and presentations
    • Manage conflicting and evolving demands on schedules
    • Organizing and preparing for various meetings/events – print materials, book & prepare room, order catering, set up etc.
    • Manage incoming communications and respond appropriately
    • Assist in the development and preparation of reports and presentations
    • Coordinating payments for invoices and preparing expense reports
    • Liaising with all levels and departments of the company while representing the team in a positive and professional manner
    • Anticipating the needs of the SVP and the teams to increase effectiveness
    • Providing back-up to the other Assistants 
    • Other administrative duties as required including filing, photocopying, faxing etc.

    The following qualifications will assist the successful candidate in accomplishing these functions:

    • At least 3 years Administrative or Project Coordinator and or Office Manager experience
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail, follow-through capabilities and the ability to meet deadlines
    • Handle confidential information in a tactful and professional manner and work well under pressure
    • Work well independently and with minimal supervision
    • Ability to take initiative and exercise sound judgment
    • Advanced PC skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
    • Completion of Post secondary education
    • Knowledge of the mutual fund industry is an asset
