    The Dealer Relations Department at Mackenzie is currently accepting applications for the position of Dealer Account Manager. Reporting to the Manager, Advisor and Dealer Relations, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting initiatives with Mackenzie’s IIROC and MFDA dealers.


    As a member of the Dealer Relations team your responsibilities will include:


    Relationship Management

    • Build and enhance loyalty by reducing dealer and advisor effort in their interactions with Mackenzie Investments.
    • Provide value added solutions to dealer head offices supported by data driven decision making and analysis.
    • Provide support for all account, policy, Fundserv and automation inquiries.
    • Participate and present at industry committees, dealer meetings or conferences.

    Training and Education


    • Influence advisor behavior by working with dealers to improve automation using their back office systems and industry utilities.
    • Liaise with internal business partners to gather and compile data for potential initiatives for dealers.

    Project Management


    • Work with internal partners involving new product development to ensure that Mackenzie is compliant with Fundserv and regulatory standards.
    • Create and present customized reports for our most valued partners.

    The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:

    • Direct experience working for a mutual fund dealer.
    • Good understanding of Mackenzie’s products, current regulatory standards and how it relates to dealers.
    • A minimum of four years financial industry experience.
    • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
    • Advanced communication and presentation skills are an asset.
    • Ability to interact professionally and present to individuals at all levels of an organization.
    • Bilingual considered an asset.
    • Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course is an asset.
