    The Role

     

    We are currently looking for a Strategy Execution Office Coordinator  to join our Strategy Execution Office as part of either Mackenzie Investments (Toronto) or Investors Group (Winnipeg).   

     

    The role of the Strategy Execution Office is to assist our IGM companies in successfully translating strategy into executable programs and projects with appropriate monitoring and measurement to ensure we remain aligned and focused on our long-term vision. 

     

    The Strategy Execution Office Coordinator will be part of a core team responsible for supporting and facilitating Strategy Execution Planning & Oversight functions and Enterprise Project Management Office (“EPMO”) functions for our IGM companies.  

     

    As a valued member of the Strategy Execution Office team your central responsibilities will include:

    • Meeting coordination and support for SEO led committees and meetings – agenda preparation; meeting material preparation support, coordination, circulation and upload to meeting portal; meeting minutes
    • Coordination and support for planning, monitoring and reporting activities, including strategic initiatives dashboard
    • Creating and maintaining SEO meeting & key events calendars
    • Creating and maintaining shared SEO documentation repository/library (using SharePoint, One Drive, etc.)
    • Scheduling, meeting, travel, expense and other administration support for selected SEO leaders
    • Assisting in development of EPMO documentation, presentations and communications
    • Liaising with all levels and departments across the companies
    • Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of the SEO team
    • Supporting SEO Executive Assistant during peak periods, holiday coverage, etc.
    • Supporting other SEO activities and initiatives, as required

     

    Qualifications:

    • 4+ years project/office coordination or administration experience in an office environment
    • Completion of post-secondary education
    • Advanced PC skills including Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and timelines, ability to multi-task and prioritize
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
